Happy Valentines Day! It’s the day of love and we are all waking up with different emotions towards the day. Some of us are looking forward to sharing it with our special someone, some of us are cursing the gods for making us spend it wondering about that jerk or mean girl who could give two shits, some of us just don’t care- it is after all just another day. Whichever perspective you are looking at this day with; rose colored glasses or shit stained foggy windows. You will walk out into the world and see red balloons in people’s cars, perhaps some cards filled with loving messages on your co-workers desk, flowers, chocolate, and sweet hearts everywhere!! OH MY GOD too much sugar!

OK, I DIGRESS. 😉 Forgive me…I’m lost in the wonder of all the chocolate that awaits me in this delicious day of LOVE. I just want to say to everyone. I believe Valentines Day is just like every day, but it is an absolute wonderful excuse to hug more people than you normally would. To spread more smiles than you ever thought possible. It is a wonderful excuse to spread messages of encouragement and honor to all of those people in your life who make you happy. The most important person on that list by the way is YOU! Yes that’s right. YOU! YOU SHOULD SHOWER YOURSELF WITH LOVE TODAY. Wake up and tell yourself how happy you are to be in the presence of you. Shower and Sing Praise to your being for living loud and free. Then step out of that shower, look in the mirror and repeat this at least 10 times so that it starts to resonate in your vocal chords and flow from your heart. “DAMN I AM BEAUTIFUL, DAMN I AM HANDSOME, WOW YOU ARE SPECIAL, YOU LOOK GOOD, I RUN THIS!” Then turn on your favorite song (this can vary and I’m kind of curious what you choose) and DANCE LIKE NO ONE ELSE IS WATCHING. For those momma’s and papa’s reading this; the little ones can most certainly join in on this. 😀

There is so much romance in loving yourself. It truly is delicious. Enjoy this day. Receive all the love it has for you and SEE all the love that IS there for you. It may not be in what we as a society have deemed as important; such as romantic love but it is none the less the most important kind of romance one will ever experience. LOVE YOURSELF. LOVE LIFE. LOVE YOUR FRIENDS. LOVE YOUR MOTHER. LOVE YOUR FATHER. LOVE YOUR GUARDIAN. LOVE YOUR DOG. LOVE YOUR CAT. LOVE YOUR JOB. LOVE YOUR LIFE.

I know nothing in this world…But I do know. I LOVE LOVE and truth be told so do you.
