At the same time things fall and prepare for slumber,
the things that were made in the sun will reap a harvest
from the seeds that were sown.
things will come to an end, preparing you for new beginnings with the things you have planted,
the things you have prepared yourself for will unfold,
and the stories you’ve planted this cycle have all grown
take the harvest and learn from it’s yield
take what you got and prepare for the new sow,
that will come after the cold winter blows…
it will freeze all the losses,
repair from the drought,
allow rest from the weathers toll.
Your soil will rebuild,
prepare for the things that you’ve not yet told.
I had thought that maybe this place was dormant, but it is alive. A wise voice is threaded through this piece, aligned with the seasons. I especially feel this line: “the things you have prepared yourself for will unfold”.
I’m happy you came upon this and that something was seen in it. I appreciate your presence.
